Welcome to Body and Sole: The School of Complementary Therapies
Welcome to the Body and Sole School of Complementary Therapy website. Northern Ireland's leading school of complementary therapies, offering courses for those students who are committed and also wish to receive the best possible training in their chosen subject.
The School also offers workshops to provide Continual Professional Development (CPD). This is a requirement for renewal of membership with the association involved with the therapy being taught.
Courses
There are a number of courses on offer (including Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage), all appropriately accredited and taught by highly experienced and certified tutors. The courses begin at different times of the year (although mainly at weekends) and run for differing periods of time (dependant on the qualification).
On successful completion of the Aromatherapy qualification students will be invited to join the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) the main body in the United Kingdom. While on successful completion of the reflexology qualification students will be invited to join, as a full member, the Irish Reflexologists' Institute (IRI) (of which Jan de Vries is the patron). The IRI is responsible for the whole of Ireland and is also affiliated with the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) in the UK.
